a marvellous piece of investigative work !

the first two minutes (0'-2') of staircase climbing perform a fine introduction to the specificity of the building, with some quite direct (art) links...the part with the railing(s), dissolving into the hefty digital whirl-blinking blizzard (3' - 9') sort of loses the empathy for the context and redirects one to a more formal visual exercise... the window cavalcade (9'- 13')then brings the building back, almost in a frenzy... the building is then smothered/smoothened by gestures and actions performed within, (13' - 20') a fine gliding into more undefined depths , yet with solid anchoring points presented... the corridor overlays (22'-17') together with the soundscape, displayed (for me) the most poignant parts of the investigations into the Lethaby Building, bringing forth what might actually be the actual essence of the building. (That said, i have never been in the building, having only read about it your other project blog (http://blazicek.net/lethaby/) ... the basement finale is classic moderne...

all in all: the piece seems to work fine out of context, viewed on the web.
( probably more so, as the longing for the specificity of specific spaces always seems to be more poignant that actually being present)
yet:
wish i would have been there.
